College basketball charts,
Built your way
The data behind the gold standard of spotter charts, now in an app where you arrange every player, stat, and note — then print it to fit your booth.
Rather we build it for you? We still do that too.
Same charts. Now you're in the driver's seat.
Our data.
Your layout.
Serving broadcasters since 1986, and now you can open the chart yourself, any time before tipoff.
Official sources
Stats, schedules, and box scores come from the NCAA, and rosters and staffs from each school's athletics site. Transfers bring last season's numbers from their old school.
Current all season
Stats refresh through the season, and the chart shows when it last refreshed. Your notes and layout stay put.
Saved as you go
Every change saves on its own. Open the chart on another computer and it's right where you left it.
Features of the new basketball charts
Data that loads itself
Pick a team, and its roster, stats, schedule, and staff are already there, in the team's colors. Watch each step land as it imports.
Your roster, your order
Keep players listed by number, or group them the way you call the game, like starters and bench or guards and bigs. Drag players and groups into place.
Your stat columns
Choose the stats you want, in the order you read them. Show each one as a total, a per-game average, or both.
Type your notes
Write notes on any player, the coaching staff, the officials, or the whole chart, with bold, lists, and color. Long notes print in full.
Highlight who to watch
Mark key players with a highlight color, and size names, name notes, and numbers to read from your seat.
Game-day tracking
Mark each player's fouls, points, and free throws, plus team fouls, time-outs, and the score by period. Reset it for the next game.
Coach & staff lines
The staff comes in with the roster. Edit the lines your way, and we'll flag it if the school's staff changes later.
Team overview
Schedule and results, the AP poll, team rankings, and the coach's record, together on one page.
Print to fit
Preview the chart on letter, legal, or tabloid paper. It scales to fill the page, and you save it as a PDF ready to print.
Layout
Arrange it the way you call it
Players where you want them. Keep the roster in numerical order, or build groups for starters and the bench, split them by position, and drag players between them. Then pick the stat columns you like, in the order you read them, and save them as your default for every new chart.
If a guy is redshirting or injured, we just go ahead and move him out of the way … and it makes everything look a lot cleaner.
Game day
Keep the game on the chart
Mark fouls, cross off points, and tally free throws as they happen, without a second sheet. Tap them in the app, or print the chart and mark them by hand. Turn on only the trackers you use.
In the app
On a laptop or tablet, click or tap a box to mark it. Marks save as you go, and Reset Game Day clears them for the next game.
Or by hand
Print the chart and the boxes come out empty, ready for a pen. Anything already marked in the app prints filled in.
Prints like the charts you know
Pick your paper and margin and see exactly what comes off the printer. The chart scales to fill the page, ready to save as a PDF and print.
How it works
Pick your team
Start a chart for any team. The roster, stats, schedule, and staff load from the NCAA and the school's own site while you watch.
Make it yours
List players by number or group them, choose your stats, highlight who to watch, and type your notes.
Print and call it
Print to fit your paper, track the game as it happens, and come back next week to a chart that's already current.
Your call Do it yourself, or let us do it for you
Build it yourself
Make your own charts in the app, for any team, whenever you're ready to prep. Arrange the players, choose your stats, type your notes, and print it when it's right.
Let us build it
Our team builds your chart from start to finish and sends you the print-ready PDF, the way we always have. Want to add a few notes of your own? Your chart is waiting for you in the app.
From the booth
This is exactly what I've envisioned … this is a lot cleaner than what I've done.
Taking care of the data issues is the biggest thing. But it looks really slick, and I think it's going to be a big positive.
It's very clean and very, very, very updated. I like it.
Realistically, during Big Ten season, it probably saves me about four hours a week.
